Identifier

The accession identifier is RLB-RUS-CRI-0120210001, built from the holder, the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 country, the province segment, the month, the year and the sequence number.

  • Holder segment RLB stands for Landrace Bureau, which some listings and other sellers call the Russian Landrace Bureau. The listing credits this line to "the Russian Landrace Bureau".
  • Country segment RUS follows the country field, which names the state that administers Crimea (see Country below).
  • Province segment CRI is for Crimea.
  • Name. The company's product title is "Ukrainian Crimea Hash Plant"; the article calls the accession Crimean Hash Plant 2021, which leaves the sovereignty claim in the company's title out of the wiki's own name. The company's home page of May 2024 and its product sitemap of September 2024 spell the name "Ukraine, Crimean Hash Plant".
  • Year 2021 is the year of the earliest dated document found that lists a Crimean line: the Wayback Machine's capture of 11 February 2021 of the company's shop (https://web.archive.org/web/20210211113414/https://landracebureau.com/), which offers a seed line called Crimean Peninsula at $25 to $100. The page takes that line to be the one now sold as Ukrainian Crimea Hash Plant. A buyer's Overgrow post of 31 January 2021 (https://overgrow.com/t/44252/1) reports breeder packs of "Russian - Bashkortostan and Crimean Peninsula genetics" on their way from the RLB, which agrees with the shop but is not used as a source for the line. The name Crimean Hash Plant first appears in the capture of 11 May 2024 (https://web.archive.org/web/20240511225749/https://www.landracebureau.com/). No source gives a collection year. The year is a lower bound, not a collection date, and moves if an earlier listing is found.
  • Month 01 is the placeholder used when the year comes from first attestation.
  • Sequence 0001. It is the holder's only accession for this province segment and year.

Country

The country field is Russia, the state that administers Crimea. The article says in plain words that Russia holds Crimea to be part of the Russian Federation, citing the agreement of 18 March 2014 as published by the President of Russia (http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/20604), and that the General Assembly's resolution 68/262 of 27 March 2014 (https://documents.un.org/doc/undoc/gen/n13/455/17/pdf/n1345517.pdf) affirmed Ukraine's territorial integrity and called on states not to recognise any alteration of Crimea's status. The article takes neither position in its own voice. The province field, Republic of Crimea, is the name of the Russian-administered subdivision in which Mount Roman-Kosh lies.

The company's own pages are not consistent about it. The product title reads "Ukrainian Crimea Hash Plant", and the Sourcing and History text says that the seeds "originate from wild cannabis plants in the Crimean Republic, Russia". Both are the company's wording and neither is adopted.

Sourcing

The company's listing (https://www.landracebureau.com/product-page/crimean-hash-plant) was read on 19 and 21 October 2026 and saved; the description is the same on both days. Every statement about the line's origin, plants and aroma is the company's own account of its stock and is attributed to it. The listing names no collector and no village, and gives no date of collection. The long section of the listing on prehistoric accounts of cannabis on the peninsula is seller copy, not a source on that history, and the article does not use it.

Typing

  • Classification: Other. The company calls the line a pure landrace and says that the seed comes from wild plants; both are its own claims and are attributed in the article. A seller's listing does not show whether the source population was a crop kept by local people or plants growing outside cultivation, so the accession takes neither Landrace nor Feral.
  • Sourcing type: Unknown provenance. No source documents the chain of custody from a source population to the seed on sale.
  • Accession type is left empty. The company does not say whether the seed on sale is a first-generation gathering or reproduced.
  • Photoperiod response is left empty: the company calls the line a "semi-auto-flowering sativa" and says that it flowers early, which does not fix a response.
  • Traits. The heights and the aromas in the infobox are the company's own descriptions.

Georeferencing

The point 44.61, 34.24 is the summit of Mount Roman-Kosh, OpenStreetMap node 5351238683,, in the Republic of Crimea. The listing says only that the seed came from the "lower slopes" of the mountain, at 44° N, which agrees with the point's latitude; it names no spot on the slopes. The point is therefore the named feature, not the place the seed was gathered. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 8 km.

Conservation priority

Not rated. The listing gives nothing about the size or status of a source population.
