Kazakh Ruderalis General Population 2019 is a feral cannabis accession collected in Jambyl Region, Kazakhstan, in 2019 by the Russian Landrace Bureau. The Real Seed Company (RSC) has distributed seed of it under the listing Kazakh Ruderalis.[1][2]
Geography
RSC reports that the seeds were collected in the northwestern Tien Shan range, in the southern Qarataū, and gives a latitude of about 44° N.[1] Its blog described the line in October 2019 as coming from Jambyl, which borders Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.[3]
Collection Details
Both listings give the sourcing as Russian Landrace Bureau in Jambyl, Kazakhstan (2019).[1][2] Neither names the collector or the site.[1][2] The archived version of 18 November 2019, the earliest, describes the seed then on sale as a pure Kazakh landrace collected in the northwestern Tien Shan range and classifies it as ruderal.[4]
Derived material
RSC now sells seed from a 2023 ex situ maintenance grow of this collection, recorded at 2019 RSC Kazakh Ruderalis Feral Reproduction. "New 2023 seeds" first appears in the listing on 17 April 2024, and the ex situ maintenance grow is named from 8 February 2025.[5][6]
