Nuphakdi 14 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected at Khung I Suea in Mueang Saraburi District, Saraburi Province, Thailand, on 18 August 1945. The Forest Herbarium (BKF) in Bangkok holds the sheet as accession BKF 8262, barcode SN 009260.[1]
Collection and locality
The printed Flora of Siam label of the Royal Forest Department is filled in by hand in Thai. It gives the locality as คุ้งอีเสือ อ.เมือง จ.สระบุรี, Khung I Suea in the Mueang district of Saraburi. It gives the date as 18 ส.ค. 88.[2] The catalogue reads the date as 18 August 1945 and gives the collector as Nuphakdi, C.[1] The label carries the collector's number 14 and a signature in Thai.[2] No altitude is recorded.
Recorded local name
The label gives the local name as กัญชา. Its note reads ใบเขียว ดอกขาว, green leaves and white flowers.[2]
Specimen and identification
The label carries the determination Cannabis sativa Linn., initialled and dated 20.IX.58.[2] The same initials and date appear on a sheet of Suvannasuddhi 457. The catalogue records the plant as Cannabis sativa L.[1]
