Bengaluru Customs seize 14.940 kg of hydroponic ganja from a passenger arriving from Bangkok at Kempegowda International Airport

Rediff, relaying a Press Trust of India report, reported that Bengaluru Customs said on the social media platform X that on 1 November it intercepted a passenger arriving from Bangkok at Kempegowda International Airport and seized 14.940 kg of hydroponic ganja. The report says the green-coloured chunks were in vacuum-sealed packets inside a bag, that the customs post valued them at Rs 5.23 crore and that an arrest was made under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
