Man pleads guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to supplying cannabis seized at Aberdeen airport in December 2024 after arriving from Bangkok
The Scottish Sun reported that a 26-year-old man pleaded guilty at the High Court in Glasgow to being concerned in the supply of cannabis. The court heard that Border Force officers and a detection dog stopped him at Aberdeen International Airport on 20 December 2024 after he arrived from Bangkok via London carrying two shrink-wrapped suitcases. The prosecutor said each suitcase held 44 vacuum-sealed half-kilogram packages of cannabis with a potential value of £654,720. The judge revoked his bail and remanded him in custody, and the case was adjourned until the following month in Edinburgh.
