Batken Region police mow and burn 3.4 tonnes of wild cannabis on 7 hectares in Kadamjay and Leilek districts in the Kara-Kuurai operation

24.kg reported, citing the Batken Region internal affairs department, that 3 tonnes 400 kilograms of wild cannabis were destroyed in the first stage of the Kara-Kuurai preventive operation, part of the republic-wide MAK-2026 operation. According to the report the first stage runs from 6 to 11 July. Drug-control officers and local police raided several settlements in Kadamjay and Leilek districts, surveyed plots totalling 7 hectares and mowed and burned the cannabis.
