Sitalkuchi police recover 1,092 kg of ganja from a bunker under a house floor at Maghpala

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that Sitalkuchi police raided a house at Maghpala on Thursday night and found a bunker built into the floor of a room, along with 63 packets of ganja buried in a pit dug in the ground beside the house. The report said 1,092 kg was recovered altogether. It quoted the additional superintendent of police and the subdivisional police officer. The report added that about 1,900 kg had been recovered from the Maghpala and Purba Bhogdabri areas over the preceding month.
