Joint force of 122 personnel destroys six hectares of cannabis at Rao-Rao Panjaringan

A joint force of 122 personnel from BNN, Polri and TNI destroyed a six-hectare cannabis complex at Desa Rao-Rao Panjaringan, Tambangan district, on 1 October 2020. BNN reported about 25,000 plants of 30 to 150 cm across three sites in protected forest at about 1,017 metres elevation, with a growing stock put at ten tonnes. BNN narcotics director Aldrin Hutabarat led the destruction, which BNN traced to an investigation of suspected planting in the Tor Sihite hill range.
