BNNP Sumut burns eight hectares of cannabis across three site groups in Mandailing Natal

BNNP Sumut with Polres Mandailing Natal and Kodim 0212/Tapanuli Selatan announced the destruction of about eight hectares of cannabis in Panyabungan Timur district on 10 June 2020. Liputan6 reported around 8,000 plants weighing an estimated eight tonnes: about four hectares at Gunung Tujuh and two at Tor Sihite, both near Desa Banjar Lancar, plus two hectares at Desa Suroboyan. BNNP Sumut head Brigjen Atrial Tanjung said the crops were burned in place. No arrests were reported.
