Nakkan 213 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected on Phu Kradueng in Loei Province, north-eastern Thailand, on 21 April 1948 by D. Nakkan. The Forest Herbarium (BKF) in Bangkok holds the sheet as accession BKF 3625, barcode SN 009255.[1]
Collection and locality
The Forest Herbarium's Flora of Thailand label gives the locality as NE: Loei, Wang Saphung, Phu Kradueng. and the date as 21 April 1948. It leaves the altitude blank.[2] The catalogue gives the locality as Loei and Wang Saphung.[1] An older Thai label, headed พฤกษชาติของประเทศไทย, lies mostly under the plant; its number line is hidden by a leaf.[2]
Recorded local name and field observations
The label gives the local name as Po kan cha and describes the plant as a Shrub, common in primary forest. Flowers white.[2]
Specimen and identification
The older label names the plant Cannabis sativa Linn.[2] The Forest Herbarium label and the catalogue give Cannabis sativa L.[1] No determiner is named.
