La Vega is a cannabis growing area covering the municipality of La Vega, in the department of Cauca, in south-western Colombia, in the Colombian Massif at the southern end of the Central Cordillera. The area belongs to the Cordillera Central (Colombia) growing region.
Eradication figures
In 2015, 3.3 hectares of marijuana were eradicated in La Vega, in two entries of the Ministry of Defence's open data: 1.3 hectares in April and two hectares in May.[1]
