Kampot is a landrace cannabis growing area in Kampot Province, Cambodia, in the Southern Cambodia growing region. Its two accessions come from the inland districts of Chum Kiri and Chhouk, 18.8 km apart.
Geography
Cultivation
Both are landrace general populations from the 2023 harvest, named Chumkiri and Kao Sla. They describe monoculture, with some cultivation in the region, planted from July to September and harvested from December to March, for recreation, medicine and food, and made into ganja. The local name is កញ្ឆា, and enforcement is sporadic. Éloïse collected both on the KHME03 expedition, with a collection date of 15 April 2023.
