2016 DCC Iraqi Pilgrim Reproduction is a seed accession of Iraqi Pilgrim, a cannabis line that the Derg Corra Collective made, by its own account, from seed collected in Iraq in 2016. It is sold through the online seed shop SeedHeaven.[1]

Geography

The collective says that the seed was collected over a wide area of Iraq. It names no town or region.[1]

Collection Details

According to the collective's description, a friend of the writer collected the seed in the summer of 2016, while on a pilgrimage in Iraq. The pilgrims smoked cannabis in the small towns they passed through, and most of it held some seed. The friend brought back a bag of close to 200 seeds.[1][2]

Cultivation Details

The writer grew ten of the seeds and chose two males and three females to make the seed on sale. Two of the mothers were broad-leaved indicas and the third leaned towards a sativa-dominated hybrid; both males were indica-dominated. The collective gives a flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks and a yield above medium, and says that some phenotypes turn purple or black in the last two or three weeks of flowering.[1]

Aroma

Because the seed was gathered over a wide area, the collective expects a range of aromas and tastes, from coffee, earth, fuel and black hashish to lemon, citrus and orange.[1]

Effects

The collective calls the effect stoned and relaxed.[1]
