Durban 2016 is a seed accession of Durban, a cannabis line that Cannabiogen, a seed company in Spain, listed among its regular seeds by April 2016. The company's product page gives the line's genetics as "South Africa".

Geography

Cannabiogen's product page calls Durban a line from the south of Africa ("Línea originaria de África del sur") and names no place in South Africa. ACE Seeds, which sold the line in 2016 in a section of its shop given to Cannabiogen's products, described it as a "100 % south african sativa landrace from Durban". Durban is also the product's name.

History

Cannabiogen called Durban a classic African line of great reputation and influence, and said that the first version it offered was the fourth generation. It wrote that, as with other landraces, part of its work had gone into offering lots with acceptable sexual behaviour, but that some intersex plants could still appear. ACE Seeds' listing gave a longer English version of the same account, where the product was sold as "Durban Standard".

Cultivation Details

Cannabiogen gives a flowering time of 10 to 14 weeks, plants in green and purple colours, and a medium yield. In April 2016 it sold the seed in packs of five and ten. ACE Seeds' listing gave October to November for the outdoor harvest.
