Collection and locality
The label, the garden's own printed form headed Plants of China, gives the number 66, the collector R. Armacost, the date June 3, 1930 and the place Hopei.[2] The catalogue gives the same province and date.[1]
Specimen and identification
The sheet carries several leafy branched stems. The collector first wrote Humulus (hop), struck it out and wrote Cannabis sativa L; E. Small confirmed Cannabis sativa L. in August 1975.[2][1]
