Anon. 9133 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected at a place in China whose name on the label has not been read, on 14 August 1929, with no collector named. The Tianjin Natural History Museum holds the sheet as TIE 00004146[1].
Collection and locality
The sheet carries a printed French form headed Herbier, with lines for the family, the scientific and common names, the station, the locality, the date and the plant's properties and uses, completed by hand: the number 9133, the family Moraceae with 大麻科 beside it, the name Cannabis sativa L., a place name in cursive Chinese on the locality line, ending 南部 (southern part), and the date 14.VIII.29 (14 August 1929).[2] The catalogue gives the year 1929 and Inner Mongolia, with no collector.[1]
Specimen and identification
The sheet carries leafy stems with a root. A determination slip names the plant Cannabis sativa L., determined by J. Kozlov.[2] The Chinese Virtual Herbarium publishes its sheet images under a non-commercial, no-derivatives licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0); they are read and cited here, not reproduced.
