Scope notes and stub sections

  • Infobox legal status year. 2021 is the year of the statute that produced the current, qualified status (Law 13-21). Before it, plain "Illegal" dated from 1974.
  • Infobox enforcement line. It states both clauses that Cannabis in Morocco sets out with citations (eradication since 2004; licensed cultivation since 2021). It is not worded as "de facto tolerance of the historic zone": the sources support that eradication fell mainly on Larache and Chefchaouen, but reading that as tolerance of the heartland is an inference, and the infobox carries no citation for it.
  • History. A stub. It should be a short national history that touches cannabis lightly, and should not follow the dynastic narrative of the English Wikipedia article. The contested cultivation, displacement and terroir claims belong to the hub and its child pages, and the full history of cannabis administration belongs to Cannabis in Morocco. General sources on Moroccan history are not yet cited.
  • Geography. Organised around the cultivation belt rather than a north-to-south physiographic sweep. National relief, hydrology and the southern and Atlantic regions are left out rather than written without sources.
  • Languages. A stub: Arabic (Modern Standard and Darija), the Tamazight languages including Tarifit in the Rif, French, and Spanish in the former northern zone.
  • Ethnic groups. A stub. "Amazigh" is used in the article's own voice, with "Berber" kept in quotations and proper names; "Riffian" is used for the people and "Tarifit" for the language. Communities with cannabis relationships are the Senhaja de Srair of the Ketama heartland, the Riffians and the Jebala of the western Rif.
  • Economy. A stub: the Rif cultivation economy, with the contested figures kept on Cannabis in Morocco.
  • Cannabis in Morocco. The section is a summary of that page and should stay in step with it.
  • Accessions. The section is a flat list with the query table, as on Cannabis in Morocco, Rif Mountains and Ketama; a Map and List split was removed because the Map heading was empty. A map remains possible through Template:Map/AccessionGeoJSON.
