Serdang Bedagai (Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai) is a regency of North Sumatra, Indonesia, on the coastal lowland between the Strait of Malacca and the foothills of the interior. Its capital is Sei Rampah.
The regency's documented cannabis record comprises a single small case from January 2026, on the coastal lowland away from the upland zones where the province's other cultivation cases concentrate.[1]
Geography
The regency occupies flat agricultural lowland on the province's east coast; its documented cannabis case came from Dolok Masihul district on the inland edge of the plain.
Cannabis in Serdang Bedagai
On 6 January 2026 Polres Serdang Bedagai destroyed two cannabis plants of about two metres in height growing at the back of a residence in Dusun II, Desa Kerapuh, Dolok Masihul district, with three men taken into custody.[1]
