Since 7 October 2026 every request to landrace.wiki passes through Cloudflare, a security service brought in after a denial-of-service attack made the site unreachable. The Privacy policy now explains what this means for your data.

Property:Has coordinate uncertainty

From Landrace.wiki

This property records how far, in metres, the place an accession's coordinates describe may lie from the stored point: the radius of a circle around the point that contains the place. It corresponds to the Darwin Core term coordinateUncertaintyInMeters. Property:Has georeference basis says what kind of point it is.

It is set by Template:Accession from coordinate_uncertainty, and only when the accession has coordinates. A settlement point carries the settlement's extent, a district or province point the radius of a circle of the area's size, and a published georeference the accuracy its publisher gives. On ZOM- accessions the coordinates are displaced by up to 500 m before they are entered (see the Privacy policy), and the template stores 500. An empty value means the uncertainty is not known, not that it is zero.
