A formatted infobox for primary historical texts relevant to cannabis documentation and taxonomy. Used on article pages for foundational works such as botanical treatises, colonial surveys, ethnobotanical studies and field reports.

Pages using this template are placed in the period category set by the period parameter, plus a regional category if regional_cat is set.
Semantic properties
The template emits the following SMW properties via #set. Display-only parameters (author dates, Latin title, volume and total-page counts, chapter and plate references, growing regions, varieties, preparations and uses) are not stored. The period and regional_cat values drive categories rather than properties.
