Evidentiary scope

The label places the plant in a grassy place by a road. It records no cultivation, local name or use. The gathering shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding. The accession is classified Other. Whether a roadside plant should be classified feral is left to a ruling. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

Naturalis georeferences the Leiden sheet to 17.53333, 100.68333. That point reverse-geocodes to Nam Pat District in Uttaradit Province and stands at 560 m on SRTM, while the label names Phitsanulok and gives 1,200 to 1,600 m. The Naturalis point is therefore not used.

Phu Rom Rot was not found in OpenStreetMap. The summit of Phu Miang (node/13645296123) lies in Chat Trakan District, Phitsanulok. It stands at 1,578 m on SRTM, inside the label's range. The infobox georeferences it at 17.62, 100.79 as the massif the label names, pinned by the label's altitude; it is not the peak the label names and places the gathering to within about 10 km. The district field follows the summit.

Editorial treatment

The two sheets are one gathering: they carry the same printed label, number and date.

The accession is filed under the Leiden sheet: the labels are identical, the Leiden sheet carries the later determination and Leiden publishes its image under CC0. The scientific name follows that determination. The Forest Herbarium sheet is listed in the article.

The collector field names the first collector, T. Shimizu. The collector number adds et al. and the article names all six. The label gives an altitude range, 1,200 to 1,600 m. The elevation field stores its lower bound, 1,200 m (ruling of 18 September 2026).

Source discrepancies

The Forest Herbarium catalogue names the plant Cannabis sp.; Naturalis and GBIF give Cannabis sativa L. The article reports both.
The Naturalis georeference falls in Uttaradit Province at 560 m. The label names Phitsanulok at 1,200 to 1,600 m, which the infobox follows.
