Evidentiary scope

The article rests on the RSC listing for Highland Lao #5 and on the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line. Kwik Seeds is the shop RSC calls its other site (RSC, Hemp & Multipurpose). The listings place the line in the highlands of Bolikhamsai and date the sourcing to 2023. They name neither the farmer nor the village. RSC says only that this is the first accession it has obtained from this farmer. They establish that RSC distributes seed of a Bolikhamsai population and describe it; they do not establish the collection site or the current status of the source population. The listings name only Bolikhamsai; RSC gives a latitude of 18° N. The coordinate is the label point of Bolikhamsai Province in OpenStreetMap (relation 5831655), rounded to two decimal places: 18.58, 104.15. OpenStreetMap places the point in Viengthong District. Editorial treatment

Accession ID. RSC-LAO-BOL-0120230001 takes BOL from Bolikhamsai Province. The month digits are 01, as on the other RSC accessions, because the listing gives no month. Serials follow year and then RSC's listing order: Highland Lao #6 and Hmong Ganja, both 2024, are 0001 and 0002.
Province. The listings spell the name "Bolikhamsai", which is also the usual English form; OpenStreetMap has "Bolikhamxay". The province is entered as Bolikhamsai Province, following the naming convention.
Collector. Angus, as on the other accessions RSC sourced itself ("The Real Seed Company, Laos").
Vocabulary mapping. "Narrow-leafleted" is entered as leaf shape Narrow. "Sativa-type architecture" is entered as growth pattern Christmas tree, the provisional RSC convention discussed on Talk:RSC-LAO-CHA-0120240001.

The Wayback Machine holds eight versions of the RSC listing, from March 2023 to April 2026. All were read, and all give the 2023 sourcing.

The March 2023 version matches the Kwik Seeds text: the genetics line "Traditional Lao – Thai Ganja Domesticate", "Seed to harvest = 6 months" and "A new accession from a crucial centre of production". "Seed to harvest = 6 months" lasts until April 2024; "approx. 5 to 6 months" appears from February 2025.
"Classification: C. sativa subsp. indica var. indica", later "Cannabis sativa subsp. indica var. indica", appears from March 2023 to May 2025. The article cites the versions of 28 March 2023 and 20 May 2025.

The infobox image is the RSC listing's only photograph. RSC says it shows a plant of this accession at 40° N in mid-July. The face of the person beside the plant was already masked in the listing.
