Discussion
Evidentiary scope
The label records the plant as cultivated and as common on a hillside. It gives no local name and no use. It is a single gathering. It shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
Georeferencing
The label names the same place as Phengnaren 483, Wang Nam Khiao (Wang Nam Kiao) in Pak Thong Chai. The infobox uses the same OpenStreetMap point (node/13974357953) at 14.42, 101.86. This label gives no altitude; the Phengnaren label's 370 m agrees with the point's 422 m on SRTM to within 52 m. The point places the gathering to within about 5 km. The district field follows the present-day district.
Entered under Tier A of the coordinate ruling of 18 September 2026.
Editorial treatment
The collector field uses the label form D. Praphat.
The infobox image is the Forest Herbarium's own scan of SN 009258, which the herbarium publishes with all rights reserved. It is used under fair use, with the rationale on its file page (ruling of 18 September 2026).
Source discrepancies
- The Forest Herbarium catalogue gives the habitat as Common and scattered on hillside. The label reads Cultivated herb, Common and scattered on hillside. The article reports both.
