Evidentiary scope
A plant at a named house in a national park's staff village, which places it in a dooryard rather than in the veld. The catalogue gives a collector, a number, a date and a locality. It is a single gathering and shows neither a continuing population nor a living germplasm holding, so it supports neither a landrace nor a feral classification. The accession is classified Other. No conservation priority is assigned.
The Botanical Database of Southern Africa publishes no image of this sheet. Its image count is zero, and so is the image count of all 1,361,966 rows in the database: the store is empty, and SANBI's own site still lists plant images among its plans. The accession carries no image until the herbarium supplies a scan.
Georeferencing
The coordinate is the same village centroid as the 1981 gathering, -24.994722, 31.590278, to six decimal places, although this entry names a particular house and that one named the village. The point locates the camp and not the house.
Editorial treatment
A. L. F. Potgieter collected both this and the 1981 gathering, with a different first collector each time.
The gathering has no catalogue number and no collector's number; the title follows the same precedent.
