Dating

RRI Wamena gives no date for the operation. Its only time cue is "kembali" (again) in the headline and first paragraph (RRI Wamena). The stored date, 10 October 2026, is the date of the report.

Place

RRI Wamena spells the kampung "Sinimbuk". Other reports of the same kampung, and the page for the item of 8 September 2026, use "Siminbuk". The locality here follows the existing spelling so that the items share one place, and the headline and summary follow RRI Wamena.

The report calls the work a repeat ("kembali") and does not refer to an earlier operation. The news item of 8 September 2026 lists 1,347 plants destroyed at the same kampung (8 September item). The figures differ and RRI Wamena gives no link between the two, so each has its own news item.

Map pin

Neither the kampung nor Serambakon District has a point of its own in the gazetteers used. The pin is the seat of Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Oksibil, which lies some distance from the kampung.

These notes were recorded when the news item was prepared. Éloise 09:21, 12 October 2026 (+07)
