The report gives no date for the search at Apapa. The stored date is that of the NDLEA statement, Sunday 4 October 2026, so the search took place on that day or earlier.

The containers' origin in Bangkok, the name "Thai Loud" and the valuation of N372 million are the agency's statements, reported by Premium Times.

The same statement reports a seizure of 1,297.5 kg at Tincan Island Port, which has its own news item.

A police statement of 6 October reports a different container examination at Apapa, which has a separate news item. The two reports differ:

Point This news item (NDLEA, Premium Times) Police statement (TVC News)
Agencies "NDLEA operatives, working with the Nigeria Customs Service and other agencies" "police operatives, alongside other security agencies"
Concealment "inside two refrigerators and two cartons" "concealed inside four chest deep freezers"
Quantity "161 parcels of Thai Loud weighing 124kg" "275 sachets of a substance suspected to be Canadian Cannabis Indica", 267 kg

These notes were recorded when the news item was prepared. Éloise 01:11, 9 October 2026 (+07)
