Fijivillage, publishing on 3 October 2026 (Fiji time), says the plants were uprooted "yesterday". The Fiji Times says they were "uprooted on October 2". This news item is dated 2 October 2026.
Quantities
Both outlets give the figure only as "more than 11,000" plants "believed to be marijuana", pending analysis. The stored plant count is the lower bound of 11,000. The summary keeps "more than".
Map pin
The farming area at Nasuva could not be placed: the Wikidata entries named Nasuva are a river, a point and creeks. The only settlement-type entry in OpenStreetMap lies in Macuata, not Bua. The pin is the centre of Bua Province, so it marks the province, not the farm.
Sources not used
The Fijivillage report also describes a methamphetamine arrest at Sabeto, Nadi. That is a separate event and is not part of this news item.
