ANTARA reports that the commander of Joint Regional Defence Command III, Lieutenant General Lucky Avianto, said in a statement "kuat dugaan ribuan batang pohon ganja yang ditemukan itu hasil budidaya Organisasi Papua Merdeka (OPM) Kodap XXV Bintang Timur" (in English: there is a strong suspicion that the thousands of cannabis trees found were cultivated by the Free Papua Organisation, Kodap XXV Bintang Timur). The tvOnenews report names no cultivator. ANTARA carries no response from the organisation. This news item gives the suspicion as the commander's.
