Correction: map pin
The pin has moved from 17.3, 121.5 to 17.26, 121.15. The old point lay about 37 km east of Tinglayan town, outside Tinglayan municipality.
The Philippine Information Agency report places the 20 eradication operations "in Tinglayan" and names no barangay or site within the municipality. Its dateline is Tabuk City, where the provincial police office gave the results; the pin follows the operations. With the operations spread across the municipality and no site named, the pin is Tinglayan town, the seat of the municipality, from OpenStreetMap's points for the town and its Poblacion, written to two decimals. Correction: enforcement agency
The agency field listed two names: the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (KPPO) and the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO). In the report SACLEO is a set of operations, which Police Colonel Gilbert Fati-ig said "focused on illegal drugs, wanted persons, loose firearms, illegal logging". The report gives the results as the KPPO's, so the agency field now lists the KPPO alone. The summary keeps SACLEO, in Fati-ig's description. Éloise 03:41, 5 October 2026 (+07)
Correction: summary
The summary has been rewritten against the report. Three statements in it were not in the report:
- a US dollar figure for the ₱31.76 million value, which the report gives only in pesos;
- that Fati-ig led SACLEO, where the report has him describing what SACLEO focused on;
- that the seven arrests came from the buy-bust operations alone, where the report gives them as the result of "four buy-bust operations and rapid response initiatives".
The figures are now given as the KPPO's and the report's. The figure of seven arrests adds up the report's two street-level suspects, one high-value target and four newly identified personalities; the report gives no total. Éloise 03:41, 5 October 2026 (+07)
