The Irrawaddy says the three were arrested "on April 24, 2019"; Radio Free Asia (10 March 2020) says "on April 22, 2019". Radio Free Asia says the sentence was passed "under two sections of the Anti-Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law, for growing prohibited cannabis plants"; The Irrawaddy says "under the Anti-Narcotics Law". Radio Free Asia calls the woman released in February "a Myanmar woman who worked as a translator"; The Irrawaddy calls her "an intern and interpreter". This news item follows The Irrawaddy.
Attribution
The Irrawaddy says the US citizen "has since fled to the US". Radio Free Asia says he "has reportedly left Myanmar". The summary gives neither.
