Evidentiary scope
The label places a cannabis plant on Po-Hua-Shan in August 1936 and gives no habitat, altitude, use or note on cultivation. The accession is classified Other and no conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing
Po-Hua-Shan is Baihua Shan (百花山), which the Beijing sheet's form writes in characters; Chinese Wikipedia gives its main summit as 1,991 m, on the boundary of Mentougou and Fangshan districts, Beijing. The point 39.86, 115.61 is the summit, OpenStreetMap node 9203724629 (tagged 1,990.7 m; SRTM 1,977 m). The labels name the mountain and no place on it, and give no altitude; the gates, trails and stations that OpenStreetMap names after the mountain lie within about 4 km of the summit. The point stands for the mountain, not the spot on it where the plant was gathered. The province field takes Beijing, with the catalogue. The label's Flora of Hopei reflects the province Peiping lay in in 1936. An earlier version of this note gave no point, on the ground that a mountain gives no collection point. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 5 km.
Editorial treatment
Collector. The collector field takes the label's T. F. King. The Harvard botanist index lists a T. F. King who collected in Hopei in 1936 for the Fan Memorial Institute, with no first names or dates, so the name is not linked.
The reused tag. The tag's printed Coll. W. Y. Hsia, 1929 belongs to the tag stock. The handwritten K. 460 matches King's field number, and the sheet is King's.
Two sheets, one accession. The New York and Beijing sheets share the collector, the number, the place and the month. The Chinese Virtual Herbarium publishes its images under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0, so its sheets are cited here and not shown.
Date. The New York label and the Fan Memorial label on the Beijing sheet give August 1936. The Beijing sheet's form, filled in after the Chinese Academy of Sciences was founded in 1949, gives 30 August 1936, which is stored, as the later form's day is on the Liu Ying 10878 page.
