Sources

  • Jittakoat (2021, pp. 176–177) quotes recipe 1483 of the Ayurvedsueksa, volume 2, with its fourteen drugs and dose, and explains the sense of rok chit.
  • Chokevivat (2019, pp. 334, 340) gives its use, to bring sleep, and names its source: Nitthet (Thomrat) Poomchoosri, Ayurvedsueksa (Khun Nitthetsukhakit), vol. 2, 1973.
  • Thai Post (16 February 2021) reports the notification taking five leaf and stalk formulas off the narcotic list.

Is it cannabis?

  • The recipe lists ก้านกัญชา, cannabis stalk, at one baht.

Kind and plant part

  • Traditional medicine. The part is the stalk. The infobox list of parts has no value for stalk, so the field is left empty and the article names the part.
  • Still made: yes (made as powder and capsules for Jittakoat's 2021 study).
  • First recorded: no year is stored.

Not used

  • The results of Jittakoat's study are not reported on the page.
  • Not on the Sakon Nakhon clinic's list of 15 formulas (Srithat et al. 2022).

Name

  • The title is the RTGS form of แก้โรคจิต. Jittakoat quotes it as the first formula of the name (ขนานที่ 1) in the textbook.
