Evidentiary scope

The record fixes a cannabis plant at a named settlement, date and altitude. Its habitat note directly documents a ruderal occurrence outside cultivation, although it does not establish whether the plants descended from cultivated stock nearby. The sheet records no local variety name, preparation or use. The specimen therefore supports a feral or ruderal classification, but it does not establish a local landrace, a continuing population or a living germplasm holding. No conservation priority is assigned.

Georeferencing

The label omits hemisphere letters, so north and east follow from the Nepalese locality, giving 27.70000, 85.31667. Both figures are stated to the whole arcminute, which places the gathering within roughly a kilometre rather than at a point. Kathmandu lies in Kathmandu District, Bagmati Province.
