Discussion
Sources
- British Pharmaceutical Codex 1907, p. 201 (Wellcome scan); the 1911 edition (Henriette's Herbal Homepage) has the same entry under "Cannabine Tannate".
- King's American Dispensatory (1898), transcription on Henriette's Herbal Homepage.
Title
- Cannabin tannate is the spelling of the BPC 1907 and of King's; the BPC 1911 spelling Cannabine tannate and King's "tannate of cannabine" are other names.
Left out
- Cannabinone, the purified resin in the next BPC entry, is a resin of the drug, not a named preparation; the British Pharmaceutical Codex (1907) article mentions it.
