Evidentiary scope

The page rests on three Wayback captures of cocogenes.com's listing for LandraceWarden Quetta Balochistan (15 August 2022, 1 October 2023, 10 October 2024; coc_site-0045/0046/0047 in the research record). The three captures carry byte-identical description text; only the sidebar "Related products" list and the footer copyright year differ between them. The article cites the earliest capture. The listing describes a population rather than a single plant and names no collector, farmer or collection date, so the page is filed as a General population / Point of Origin collection with no conservation priority entered. Georeferencing

The listing gives only "30° TO NORTH" — a bare latitude, not a coordinate pair — together with "1,600 METERS ABOVE SEA LEVEL". No longitude is stated in any of the three captures, so nothing can be checked against OpenStreetMap or entered in coordinates; per the drafting brief, a latitude alone is not a coordinate. The altitude is entered in elevation as 1600, the bare-metres form the corpus uses for a stated site altitude (accession-elevation-is-metres); the source figure is already metric, so no conversion was needed. BAL is the first three letters of "Balochistan" uppercased, a new province code — checked against Pakistan live: the eight existing Pakistan accessions use AZA (Azad Kashmir), GIL (Gilgit-Baltistan) and KHY (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), none BAL. 01 month, not stated anywhere. 0000 year: the listing states no collection year and the row carries no season_category (checked against worklist_2026-09-23.json and findings.json), so per RULINGS_2026-09-23.md §5 the ID year is 0000 and collection_date stays empty. 0001 serial: the only BAL/0000 accession minted this session.
• Country — flagged for review. The word "Pakistan" does not occur anywhere in any of the three saved captures of this listing (checked by direct search of the saved text, not the research lane's own paraphrase — see the note below on why that distinction matters here). The listing names only "Balochistan", which by itself is not diagnostic: the name is shared by a province of Pakistan, a province of Iran (formally "Sistan and Balochistan", capital Zahedan) and a region of Afghanistan that has no province formally named "Balochistan". Pakistan is entered here because the listing additionally and specifically calls Quetta "[t]he provincial headquarter... which is the most populated city of Balochistan" — a description that, read together (a province whose own name is "Balochistan", with Quetta as both its capital and its largest city), identifies Pakistan's Balochistan uniquely among the three. Quetta itself, as a place, is unambiguous: no other place of that name is of any note. Context: a subagent on this same research lane was previously caught inferring "Pakistan" from the line name alone, and research/coc_site/findings.json still carries that unsourced "Pakistan" gloss in its paraphrase fields (holder_facts, leads, summary) though never in a verbatim quote field — this page's country entry does not rely on any of those paraphrases. Separately, Talk:Coco Genes ("Places") already states "the article does not say 'Pakistan' because neither LandraceWarden page names a country" — that is a true, narrower statement about the organisation article's own prose, not a prior ruling against ever entering a country on either line's accession page, and this page's treatment does not contradict it. Talk:Coco Genes ("Collectors") already treats "the LandraceWarden label" as one of the organisation's named collectors, on the same footing as plantlover77, Rob Stone, AAdhi, the Tatva/Tattva group and "a travelling Lama". seed_storage_location stays Coco Genes, the retailer; nothing read states that Coco Genes collected this seed itself.
• Flowering time. maximum_flowering_time = 11, from "few plants having 11 weeks of flowering period maximum". minimum_flowering_time left blank: the listing gives an average (nine weeks), not a stated minimum, and "average" is not treated as interchangeable with "minimum".
• Left blank: leaf_shape, stigma_color, flower_structure, growth_pattern, branching. The listing's phenotype language ("good leaf surface area", "classic BLD expressions", "beautifully developed flower structure", colourful bracts, purple foliage in some plants) does not map cleanly onto the controlled vocabulary confirmed from the one live Pakistan sample read for comparison (RSC-PAK-KHY-0120150001: leaf_shape=Intermediate, stigma_color=Pink hairs), and guessing risks a silent constraint-vocabulary failure on deploy.
