Evidentiary scope

The page rests on the Coco Genes product listing (text identical across three captures, March 2021, December 2022 and December 2024) and one capture of Coco Genes' Strainly profile (September 2022), which lists this same line under a fuller title. The product listing establishes that Coco Genes sold seed under this name, describes it as collected during "the holy Kumbh Mela 2019 celebration", names "Aghori Baba, Bhapu Baba" as the source in its additional-information table, and frames the seed with religious language (blessed by sadhus, a ritual dip in the sangam during the shahi snan, guru-to-disciple transmission "some with multiple centuries of history"). It does not establish an actual collection village or site, the real identity of "Aghori Baba" or "Bhapu Baba", or how the tag "Indore" relates to the Kumbh Mela framing. Georeferencing

No coordinate is stated anywhere in the evidence. Province: ruled. Éloïse ruled on 23 September 2026 that the province is entered as Madhya Pradesh (MAD) with the conflict recorded here, rather than left blank: Coco Genes' own two channels do state a place below country level, and this wiki documents what a source says rather than harmonising it away. The conflict with the Kumbh Mela 2019 framing below is unchanged and remains unresolved.

Two place signals exist and they point at different states:

• The product page's own tags read "Indore, Kumbh Mela, Landrace"; Indore is a city in Madhya Pradesh.
• The September 2022 capture of Coco Genes' Strainly profile lists the line under the title "Indore - Madhya Pradesh - Kumbh Mela Collection #1", the same city, with the state made explicit.
• Neither source gives a place below this. Neither source explains the relationship between "Indore" and the Kumbh Mela described in the product text.

Separately, general reference knowledge outside these sources (not stated by Coco Genes anywhere, and not entered in the article on that basis) is worth recording here for whoever rules on this: the 2019 Kumbh Mela (an Ardh Kumbh, marketed as "Kumbh Mela 2019" by the Uttar Pradesh state government) was held at Prayagraj (Allahabad), Uttar Pradesh, in January–March 2019. Indore is not a Kumbh Mela site at all; Madhya Pradesh's own Kumbh-cycle festival, the Simhastha, is held at Ujjain (last in 2016), a different Madhya Pradesh city from Indore. So the tag/Strainly title and the named event point at two different states (Madhya Pradesh vs. Uttar Pradesh), and neither is Ujjain, the one Madhya Pradesh city that does host a Kumbh-cycle gathering. This is flagged, not resolved: the sourcing establishes no collection place at all, "Indore" and "Kumbh Mela 2019" are recorded as competing, unreconciled signals, and the infobox coordinates field stays empty. Editorial treatment

• Accession ID. COC-IND-MAD-0120190001. Province segment MAD (Madhya Pradesh), per Éloïse's ruling of 23 September 2026. The page was first drafted as UNK on the reading that two conflicting place signals made neither safe; the ruling took the stated place and kept the conflict on this page. MAD is a new province code, first minted in this batch. Country is entered as India, though not stated verbatim on the product page itself; this is not in doubt, since the Kumbh Mela is unambiguously an Indian festival and both competing place signals (Indore; Madhya Pradesh) are themselves Indian places, so nothing is invented by entering it.
• Year. 2019, taken as a genuinely stated collection year, not a Season-category placeholder: this line carries no Season category at all (unlike the ten Coco Genes lines this ruling was written for). The product text reads "These seeds were collected during the holy Kumbh Mela 2019 celebration": the verb "collected" is directly modified by "during... the... 2019 celebration", so this dates the collection, not merely the festival's general existence. • Place. cocogenes.com product tag: "Indore" (no state given). Coco Genes' Strainly profile, as captured 28 September 2022: "Indore - Madhya Pradesh - Kumbh Mela Collection #1". Both are Coco Genes' own words, on two different Coco Genes-controlled channels; neither is in tension with the other as such (Indore is in Madhya Pradesh), but both are in tension with the Kumbh Mela 2019 framing; see Georeferencing. Recorded, not resolved.

One Wayback capture of the Strainly profile (28 September 2022) shows this line among six visible "17 open listings" entries, under the fuller title used above. A live fetch of the same Strainly profile (18 September 2026) shows "No open listings" at all: the line is not listed there today, so the fuller place title is attested only in the one archived capture, not on the current live page.
