Sources

  • Pongsaree, Boonjang and Chokchaisiri (2026, pp. 21–22) name the source text and list the twenty drugs of the batch they prepared, with gram weights.
  • Chokevivat (2019, pp. 334–335, 340) gives its uses, names its source (Phaetsart sangkhep, 1909, p. 72) and says it had been put on the national list without cannabis.
  • Punpeng et al. (2022, Table 1, p. 167) list it in the Vejjasueksa, cannabis whole plant.
  • The 2023 national list (p. 48) gives a form of 187 g with no cannabis.
  • Srithat et al. (2022) report the cannabis form at the Sakon Nakhon clinic.

Is it cannabis?

  • Pongsaree et al. list กัญชา among the twenty drugs.

Kind and plant part

  • Traditional medicine. Whole plant: no source read names the part.
  • Still made: yes (the cannabis form at the Sakon Nakhon clinic, 2020–2022; the form without cannabis on the 2023 list).
  • First recorded: no year is stored.

Not used

  • The gram weights of Pongsaree et al. are left out: the twenty weights they print add up to 761.5 g, while they give the total as 357.50 g, and their yield figure (85.98 g at 24.05 per cent) fits the smaller total. The source text's own proportions were not found.

Name

  • The title is the RTGS form of อไภยสาลี, the spelling of the 2019 list. อภัยสาลี (Punpeng et al., the 2023 list) and Ya-Apaisalee (the English title of Pongsaree et al.) are redirects.
