Permission and scope
Éloïse recorded on 23 September 2026 that ACE Seeds has given permission for a page and for its accessions to be catalogued, covering its photographs and its catalogue text. The permission is the vendor's; it does not extend to the other seed businesses whose lines the ACE Seeds catalogue carries, and it is not the basis on which the page exists — the wiki documents seed sources independently of their consent.
The accessions built from this catalogue are confined to lines filed under the ACE Seeds brand. See the section below.
Sourcing route: the live site could not be read
Every source for this page was read from Wayback Machine captures, not from the live site. The network available when the page was drafted blocks cannabis seed retailers (aceseeds.org, therealseedcompany.com and seedfinder.eu all failed the TLS handshake and redirected over plain HTTP to a mobile carrier's content-lock page), while landrace.wiki, Google, Crossref and web.archive.org were reachable. The captures used are named in each citation.
Two consequences for anyone revisiting this page:
- The listing text quoted here is the text as captured, and the live listings may since have changed. Restocks on this kind of shop change the lot under the same URL, so re-read the archived versions before treating a detail as current.
- The catalogue figures come from a Store API capture of 27 February 2026 (231 products across three pages; a fourth page returned an empty array). That endpoint is the whole catalogue in one document and is the cheapest way to re-measure the brand split.
The catalogue carries several businesses
The 27 February 2026 snapshot files 231 products. Brand membership:

So two thirds of the Pure and stabilized shelf is not ACE Seeds' own material. Minting those lines under an ACE holder code would attribute them to the wrong holder, which is the case the holder-code rule in the naming reference (§8B) exists to prevent. Indian Landrace Exchange, Khalifa Genetics, Green Mountain Seeds and Romulan Genetics each want their own holder code and their own organisation page before their lines are catalogued.
Trading date and corporate identity
The About page dates the brand to 2005. The legal notice gives the operator as ACE Web Progress SL with the Spanish VAT number ESB98476583. No source consulted joins the two, and none gives a formation date for the company. Both are stated in the article and nothing is inferred from the gap — the same treatment given to The Real Seed Company, where a 2007 brand date sits beside a 2021 incorporation.
Title form
ACE Seeds is the form the vendor uses and the form already used in the live Afropips article. Neither ACE Seeds nor Ace Seeds had any backlinks before this page, so the graph had not already settled the title. Ace Seeds should be created as a redirect.
Open calls
- Three ACE-brand lines in the Pure and stabilized shelf are deliberate crosses, not collected populations: Bangi Haze, Kali China and CBD #1. They sit in that section because they are stabilised, not because they are pure. They are held out of the accession batch pending a ruling on whether a bred cultivar takes an accession record or a different page type.
- Four further lines are worked populations rather than field collections and are flagged on their own pages: Nepal Jam (the listing calls it a hybrid, Nepali with Jamaica '85), Panama (three Panamanian sativas combined), Oldtimer's Haze (a 1960s–70s California Haze population received from a British breeder) and ErdPurt (an Afghan line selected in northern Europe).
- An image licence is undecided. The permission covers ACE's photographs, so they need not take the
{{Fair-use}}treatment the RSC photographs carry. There is no existing licence template for material used by the copyright holder's permission, so one has to be written before any ACE photograph is uploaded. - Cannabiogen's relationship to ACE Seeds is undocumented. The site carried a Cannabiogen brand section in 2016 and credits Cannabiogen with beginning the Pakistan Chitral Kush line in the mid-1990s. Whether the two businesses share ownership is not stated in any source consulted, and the article asserts nothing about it.
