Focus Cannabis fields, hashish and seed in Afghanistan and Pakistan

Paklandrace Exchange, also written Pak Landrace Exchange, is a name under which posts about cannabis fields and hashish in Afghanistan and Pakistan have appeared on Instagram, as @paklandracexchange, since at least February 2021, and on LinkedIn in 2022.[1][2] The account was tagged, with the Indian Landrace Exchange and the seed shop Full Power Selections, in the announcement of the Indian Landrace Exchange's Afghan seed release of 2021, in a copy an Overgrow member posted to the forum.[1]

Posts

The LinkedIn posts of 2022 show hashish from Ghazni,[2] a hard dry-sift hashish from Kiraan district in Badakhshan,[3] and a dry-sift hashish from Panjwai district in Kandahar.[4] A post of October 2022 from Muqur in Ghazni province announced "the 2nd phase of touring at all of the farms from Paktia to Ghazni, in order to document the females at the apex of their flowering term".[5] The Panjwai post is tagged #TheAfghanProject2022,[4] the name of the Indian Landrace Exchange's tour of Afghanistan from May to November 2022.[6]

A post of November 2022 on the Tirah valley says that many of its tribes import seed from Afghanistan, Iran and Uzbekistan, so that plants there can only be told apart by their form. It says the Afridi mostly grow a tall, thin-leaved local variety that flowers in about twelve weeks.[7]
