Odisha excise officers stop an auto-rickshaw with about 100 kg of ganja on NH-59 near M Rampur, Kalahandi, and arrest two

The Times of India reported that a patrol of the Kesinga excise station on NH-59 at Amath chowk on the M Rampur road on Tuesday 27 October stopped an auto-rickshaw that was loading plastic bags and found about 100 kilograms of ganja in five bags of 20 kilograms each. The two men with it, the driver from Bihar and a man from Balangir district, were arrested and sent to jail on Wednesday, and a country-made pistol with a live bullet was seized from them. The excise officer in charge said the contraband was being taken from Kandhamal to Bihar.
