Harare magistrate jails two men for six years each over 80 kg of mbanje seized from a car on the Harare-Masvingo Highway

The Herald reported that two men were convicted and sentenced to six years each in the week of the report before a Harare magistrate. Detectives of the Zimbabwe Republic Police's CID Drugs and Narcotics had arrested them on 23 February 2026 near the auction floors on the Harare-Masvingo Highway, as they travelled in a black Mercedes-Benz, and recovered 80 kilograms of mbanje.
