NDLEA Kaduna State Command reports seizing 1,874.843 kg of cannabis in September

Peoples Gazette, carrying a News Agency of Nigeria report, said the Kaduna State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) reported in a statement on Monday 12 October 2026 that it had arrested 108 suspects and seized 1,897.907 kg of illicit drugs in operations across the state in September. The command's spokesperson, Sani Garba, said cannabis accounted for the largest quantity, 1,874.843 kg. The command also reported 12 convictions, 10 suspects charged to court and 40 drug joints closed in the period.
