DRI and the Bihar STF seize 5.14 kg of charas that officials call Nepal-origin at a hideout in Raxaul

PTI, as carried by Rediff, reported that early on Saturday 10 October 2026 the Muzaffarpur unit of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, working with the Bihar Special Task Force, searched a hideout in Raxaul and recovered 10 packets of charas weighing 5.14 kg. Two people, among them the suspected mastermind, were arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. A statement from officials described the charas as Nepal-origin and bound for Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
