Three men charged in Barbados after the seizure of 43.3 kg of suspected cannabis
Nation News reported that the Barbados Police Service Narcotics Unit charged three men, two of them foreign nationals, in connection with the seizure of 43.3 kg of suspected cannabis valued at an estimated 866,000 dollars. According to the report the three, a 45-year-old Trinidadian national, a 53-year-old man of St Michael and a 54-year-old Guyanese national, were charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking and possession with intent to supply, and the offences were allegedly committed on 23 August 2026. The Trinidadian national was additionally charged with entering Barbados other than through a port of entry and with disembarking without the consent of an immigration officer. The three appeared before a magistrate in the District B Magistrates' Court on 28 August and were not required to plead to the indictable offences, with one granted bail of 200,000 dollars and the other two remanded.
