Solok Kota police chase a car to a crash at Tanah Garam and recover about 10 kg of ganja from the vehicle and the suspect's home

Rakyat Sumbar reported that in the early hours of Sunday 23 August the narcotics unit of Solok Kota police, acting on a tip from residents about a black Toyota Avanza at Nagari Aripan, chased the car until it crashed on the Padang Panjang-Solok road at Kelurahan Tanah Garam. The article says officers found six large packs of suspected dried ganja, a plastic clip of suspected methamphetamine crystals, scales and a phone at the crash, and four more packs and a backpack at the driver's home in Nagari Aripan after the suspect said further stock was there. It gives the total ganja seized as 10 kg and says the 26-year-old suspect is being processed under Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics.
