Rajkot Special Operations Group seizes about 205 kg of ganja from a truck from Odisha near Bamanbor and arrests two

ETV Bharat Gujarat reported that the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajkot city police stopped a suspicious truck coming from Odisha near the Bamanbor checkpost and found about 205 kg of ganja hidden under iron plates, valued by police at roughly Rs 1.5 crore. The driver and the cleaner were arrested and a case was registered under the NDPS Act. It quotes Joint Commissioner of Police Chaitanya Mandlik as saying the ganja was brought in under cover of an e-way bill for iron plates and that two other accused were absconding. The article says questioning showed the consignment had been ordered from Odisha by a resident of Hadala village on Morbi Road, Rajkot.
