Anti-Narcotics Unit uproots cannabis farm in Kajiado, 78.98 kg recovered

Detectives from the Anti-Narcotics Unit, working with officers from Ololua, uprooted an established cannabis plantation in Kajiado County following an intelligence-led operation. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations said the site yielded 78.98 kg of suspected cannabis packed into five sacks, with an estimated street value of KSh 2,369,000. Joseph Leimyayan, 40, was arrested at the scene and held in custody while detectives completed investigations ahead of his arraignment. The DCI said it remained committed to curbing the cultivation and trade of narcotics. It asked the public to keep sharing information through its anonymous #FichuaKwaDCI reporting channels.
