BSF seize 1 kg 900 g of hydroponic cannabis from a passenger at the Hili land port

Uttarbanga Sambad reported that the Border Security Force stopped a hydroponic cannabis trafficking attempt at Hili. The paper said the cannabis was found in a concealed compartment of the trolley bag of a young man as he entered India from Bangladesh through the Hili land port, and that he was carrying an Indian passport. The BSF handed him the following afternoon to officers of the customs department's intelligence agency for the Malda division. According to BSF sources quoted by the paper, 1 kg 900 g of hydroponic cannabis was seized, with a market value put at about 70 lakh rupees.
