Jhargram police seize about 60 kg of ganja concealed in an onion lorry on the national highway

TV9 Bangla reported that Jhargram police acted on information from a secret source that ganja was being moved by lorry along the national highway. Officers stopped the lorry as it entered Jhargram from Odisha and recovered four sacks of ganja weighing about 60 kg, which the report said had been hidden under sacks of onions. Two people were detained. The report put the value of the consignment at about five lakh rupees and said the consignment was being taken from Odisha to Jharkhand, both of which are the report's own account rather than a police statement.
