Mastchoh District police destroy over 4,000 wild cannabis plants, 48 kg, on waste ground in Buston

Sputnik Tajikistan reported, citing the Interior Ministry, that officers of the Mastchoh District internal affairs department, working with the district youth and sports department, carried out work on waste ground in the town of Buston. They found and destroyed more than 4,000 wild cannabis plants with a total weight of 48 kg. The ministry said inspection and raid work in the district continues and that the operation, Maki-2026, forms part of the national drug strategy for 2021 to 2030.
